Cauliflower Steak Sandwiches

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • Splash oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sprig of thyme
  • 1 tomato
  • Lettuce
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 60g mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Baxters Wholegrain Mustard

Baxters Ingredients


  • Preheat griddle pan
  • Slice the cauliflower into cross sections about 1 ½ cm thick.
  • Drizzle with oil, season and add thyme leaves
  • Lay the slices onto the griddle pan and cook until golden and softened. This will take around 6 minutes
  • Mix BX Wholegrain Mustard with mayo to make a mayo mustard.
  • Toast buns, spread with mayo and top with lettuce and sliced tomato or any of your favourite sandwich fillers.
  • Top with the golden, tender cauliflower steak and serve immediately.
  • Pairs beautifully with our BX Mango and Jalapeno or BX Chilli Jam
