Sticky BBQ Ribs

  • 1 Rack pork ribs
  • Salt to season ribs
  • 1 Jar Baxters Chilli Jam
  • 300 g tomato ketchup
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 red chilli

Baxters Ingredients


  • Trim any sinew from the ribs then cut the rack in half
  • In a small sauce pan heat the other ingredients and simmer until sugar has dissolved
  • Season the ribs and place in an ovenproof dish
  • Coat in half the sauce ensuring all the meat has been covered
  • Cover in foil and bake in oven at 150oC for 2-3 hours until meat is falling off the bone
  • At this stage both the ribs and sauce can be cooled and stored until needed
  • To finish brush the ribs with sauce and place on the BBQ
  • Repeat this process until the ribs have a good stick glaze
